Job Description

City: Flexible work location, occasional visits to Longbridge, Birmingham head office

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated Social Media & Athlete Coordinator to join our passionate team. We’re looking for an individual who can both support the development & execution of our social media strategy and manage the USN athlete (influencer) roster.

The successful candidate will be highly capable across multiple social platforms, comfortable translating broader brand strategy to a social context. They will organise the organic content creation process, working closely with our athletes and broader brand team to generate engagement and growth across social platforms. You must have 1-2 years of social media experience, extensive understanding of the social media environment and have a passion for these platforms and ideally health & fitness more broadly.

Key areas of responsibility are:

  • Development, execution and monitoring of USN’s social media strategy, aligning to the broader brand strategy.
  • Day-to-day handling of content and all social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter - adapting content to suit different channels and different audiences day to day activities, including content ideas, and drafting copy for social media posts in a consistent and on-brand way.
  • Working closely with both agency partners and broader marketing team to ensure engaging and consistent content output from our athlete roster. 
  • Providing regular updates on organic social and athlete performance vs KPIs.
  • Management and tracking of the USN athlete roster to ensure they provide required deliverables (content creation, event activation, competitions etc)

You will need to be a pro-active self-starter who is both curious and hungry to learn & develop within an entrepreneurial environment. You will be a positive, results focussed individual with strong accountability for self and others. You’ll be a team player who seeks to work with and share with others to improve the business.  You'll have excellent creative, design and copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging social plans and content.
