Are you a passionate people person, looking for a fantastic role for Christmas?

Dust and Things are looking for a friendly, empathetic and efficient person to join the team as a valued member of our customer services department in Caerphilly during the busy festive period.

The Customer Appreciator is the first port of call between the customer and Dust and Things, and goes over and above to ensure that all customers leave us happy.

Full training will be provided:

  • The applicant should be confident in assisting customers via email in a well written and personal tone, upholding the Dust and Things customer friendly values at all times.
  • An approachable phone manner and great literacy skills are necessary to this role, as is the ability to carry out all daily tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • Working as part of a small department within a vibrant and close-knit team, the successful applicant will be a team player and able to get on well with others.
  • As a valued team member within an exciting and ever-developing business, an element of flexibility within your role will be necessary, and the successful candidate must be willing to train and undertake other tasks if needed.

Daily Tasks include:

  • Dealing with a wide variety of customer enquiries via email and phone
  • Accessing multiple sales channels and checking customer contact
  • Replying to customer feedback in a personable, friendly manner
  • Resolving any customer issues with high priority
  • Working closely with the design team and workshop team
  • Applying changes to customer orders
  • Manually taking orders via phone and operating a card payment machine
  • Processing product returns and arranging re-sending parcels
  • Liaising with external partner companies
  • Thinking 'outside the box' to ensure customers feel appreciated

Further Information:

  • Contract length: 2-3 months
  • Part-time hours: 25-40 per week
