This role is based at Wafer Technology, IQE’s substrate manufacturing division in Milton Keynes. Wafer Technology has a long and well established history in the manufacture of compound semiconductors and is an industry leader in its field, supporting the requirements of many high technology industries which span defence, consumer, photonics as well as producing state-of-the-art semiconductor material to power next generation device technologies.

About the role
As a shift process engineer you will be responsible for translating customer’s requirements into finished product that meets the customer defined physical, electronic and optical specifications. Carrying out these duties on a shifted basis and providing the main technical focal point out-of-normal working hours.
