Contract Type: 12 months fixed term

 

Salary: Salary £45- 50k

  • Due to expansion we are recruiting for a Technology Analyst to be part of an already successful Global Technology Team. You will be responsible for helping deliver change using the latest technologies to help growth.
  • You will also have responsibility for investigating and researching the latest technologies, as well as taking the lead to implement these innovative solutions.
  • You will be part of the architecture review team, and be a key player in the maintenance of our technology roadmap to ensure that our business areas are operating at their highest levels so we as a business can continue to deliver our innovative solutions to our patients.
  • Work with IT Engagement teams to provide technical guidance on system design and architecture, ensuring the solution fits with the current infrastructure and operational processes, identifying any gaps and security considerations.
  • Act as the technical lead on projects, to ensure a standardised approach is taken with the IT services supporting the business applications.
  • Managing problem resolution across all IT Infrastructure services, finding the root cause and implementing solutions to mitigate future reoccurrences.
  • Responsible for providing 4th Level technical support and guidance across hardware and software platforms.
  • Take a Project Management role on new, modified or replacement projects identified by the Technology team.
  • Drawing up specific proposals for new, modified or replacement IT systems to support the improvement and/or automation of business processes.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience providing 3rd line Infrastructure support.
  • Strong background in Networks (WAN, MPLS, LAN, Cisco Meraki, and VPN).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Azure, 365, Windows Server, Exchange, SCCM, Intune and Active Directory).
  • Migration experience from Skype for Business to Teams is an advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge in Virtualisation (VMWare and Hyper-V), Blade/SAN hardware, Servers, including installation, upgrades, and patching.
  • IT and/or Microsoft Qualifications (MCSE, MCSA, CCNA etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
