Salary: - up to £25K per year (circa £12.60/hr)


Job Elements: -

  • An opportunity has arisen for an SAP Production Planner reporting directly to the Logistics and Planning Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking for a career in Supply Chain Management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Scheduling and disposition of all purchased parts and raw materials
  • Monitoring customer demand changes and build programmes with the aim of identifying and satisfying any inventory discrepancies against targets while ensuring continued production.
  • Support in the planning and supply of materials to maximise machine and people utilisation in production.
  • Identify scrap/waste material and adjust stock/inventory whilst updating the ERP System (SAP)
  • Care and responsibility for bills of materials, routings and material master in SAP.


What the company are seeking in the successful candidate: -

  • Degree graduated, ideally in Materials Management / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Business
  • Highly motivated and adaptable
  • Able to quickly and positively react to change (absences, machine breakdowns etc)
  • Customer knowledge/understanding of customer requirements
  • Inventory Management
  • SAP Experience is a must
  • Packaging, Stock and Internal Logistics knowledge
  • ERP (Production/MRP) knowledge and/or experience
  • Experience of Bill of Materials (BOMS)
  • IT skills.
