Post Contract Project Manager - £44,168 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Post Contract Project Manager to join our team. At Taff Housing Association we are delivering an ambitious programme of new affordable housing in the Cardiff area. Our development programme plays a key role in delivering our vision to provide great quality homes and services and to enable communities to thrive. You will be responsible for delivering schemes from post tender stage through to handover and final account. If you have strong technical construction knowledge, great people skills, and a passion for delivering excellent services, we’d love you to join us and help deliver our new homes here at Taff.
What you’ll do…
Take ownership of the delivery and post contract project management of the development programme and ensuring that development strategy objectives are met. Manage scheme budgets, risks and programme timelines, keeping everything on track and maintaining clear, accurate reporting. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and taking a proactive, solutions focused approach to scheme delivery.
What you'll bring to the role...
- Minimum of two years’ experience project managing new build residential development and major refurbishment schemes
- Have experience working in a housing association/social housing environment
- Bring strong project management skills within development or construction
- Have good knowledge of planning, construction, contract management and legal processes
- Demonstrate experience of managing budgets, cashflows, risks, and multiple project demands
- Demonstrate effective working relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, colleagues and stake holders
- Communicate clearly, work proactively and maintain excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrate sound health & safety knowledge and apply CDM principles in your work
- Use strong administrative and organisational skills to maintain accurate project documentation
- Proven experience of providing excellent customer service, including consulting with residents.
- Educated to degree level or higher in building, construction, surveying with equivalent relevant experience in new build major construction projects

- Have full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
