You will ensure every visitor, learner and colleague feels welcomed, supported and valued, while working with Clarity to maintain accuracy, organisation and smooth front-of-house operations. You will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of reception and front-of-house services, providing a professional first point of contact for all visitors and enquiries. Working calmly under pressure, you will manage a range of administrative, security and customer service duties, helping to ensure a safe, organised and efficient office environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a welcoming and professional reception service
  • Manage calls, enquiries and the switchboard efficiently and professionally
  • Issue and maintain staff and visitor ID badges and access fobs, ensuring accurate records
  • Support room bookings, meeting coordination and general office enquiries
  • Provide administrative support including email, data entry, filing and diary management
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of meetings, events and workshops
  • Manage deliveries, stationery supplies and reception-related processes
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised reception area
  • Handle complaints and challenging situations professionally, escalating where appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, health & safety and organisational policies
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required

This role is based at our Head Office and reports to the People Operations Manager.

ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language. While not essential, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
