Salary: £85.50 - £95 per day

Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children in a primary school setting?

Do you have experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs / ALN?

Are you adaptable, patient and confident supporting children across different primary year groups?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in Caerphilly looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide general classroom support. The successful Teaching Assistant will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for pupils, including children with ALN.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time temporary basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside class teachers to support pupils with their learning, provide additional support for children with ALN and help pupils remain engaged within the classroom.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar educational setting
• Experience supporting children with ALN
• A good understanding of how to support pupils within the classroom
• Strong communication skills
• A patient, adaptable and positive approach
• A willingness to support pupils across different primary year groups
