Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join Healthy Workstations (HWS) in Ystalyfera, as an Apprentice Purchasing Administrator/Sale Support.

Daily duties:

Responsibilities:

  • Processing supplier orders, manually checking confirmations, updating the computer system. Once goods received, match invoices for payment, data entry.
  • Monitoring of purchase orders and delivery targets – telephoning suppliers for live data
  • Email monitoring and prioritising replies.
  • Resourcing new supply options, or replacement products, for best prices and quickest delivery.
  • Produce quotations and process sales orders.
  • General Office administration, support and handling incoming telephone calls

Desirable personal qualities:

  • A friendly, positive, helpful, person who likes the thrill of getting answers to help the Team meet their customer service requirements. Someone who likes learning new things. Common sense, more important than academic results.
  • Good telephone and written communication skills with attention to details, and a caring approach.

Additional Information

  • A full position is available at the end of the apprenticeship to really develop learned skills.
  • Our qualified apprentices often stay with us between 2-4 years, building their experience.

Qualifications required:

  • Good IT knowledge Maths and English GCSE preferable

Apprenticeship course:

  • Level 2 Apprenticeship in Business and Administration
