Groundworks Operative

Our client is looking for experienced Rail Groundworkers to join their permanent workforce on rail and civil engineering projects across North Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous rail or civils experience and relevant PTS/tickets who are looking for secure, long-term employment with a reputable contractor on rail or non rail projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out groundworks and general civil engineering duties within a rail or non rail environment.
• Assist with excavation, drainage, concreting, foundations and associated works.
• Operate plant and equipment where suitably qualified.
• Follow site RAMS, safety procedures and railway standards.
• Work effectively as part of a site team.
• Undertake nights, weekends and possession work when required.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) if wanting to work on the rail projects.
• Relevant rail/civil engineering tickets and competencies.
• Experience working within possessions and around railway infrastructure.
• CSCS/CPCS/NPORS tickets where applicable.
