The Opportunity

Môrwell Talent Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small, friendly finance team on a short-term temporary basis, covering a period of sick leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is immediately available and confident working within a busy finance environment. You will report directly to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger function.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
• Processing supplier payments and maintaining accurate records
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Responding to supplier queries
• Assisting with general purchase ledger administration
• Ensuring invoices and payments are processed within agreed timescales
• Supporting the wider finance team as required

About You

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated and competent finance professional who can hit the ground running.

You will ideally have:

• Previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to pick up new finance systems quickly
• A confident and proactive approach to your work
• Good organisational and communication skills
• The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
• A dependable and reliable approach to work
• The flexibility to start immediately
