Position Overview: A Finance Apprentice will work alongside our Finance department, supporting various finance-related tasks and gaining valuable hands-on experience in financial operations. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in finance to gain practical experience while studying part-time. We are currently the third fastest growing company in Wales 2023 (Fast growth 50), so there is a lot of experience to gain from this position for the right hardworking individual.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment preparations, and reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analysis.
• Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records and databases.
• Participate in audits and compliance activities as required.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance team.

Skills needed (useful but not essential, as on the job training is provided):

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in finance.

Work Schedule:

• 4 days per week working alongside the Finance team.
• 1 day per week dedicated to studying or attending classes related to finance.
