We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our purchasing team in a very busy Building Services Department based in the depot at Heol Y Gors Cwmbwrla Swansea.

The successful candidate will be expected to input and raise orders with suppliers via the council's own oracle-based system, complete Purchase card transactions and ensure all paperwork is up to date.
Liaise with suppliers for site deliveries with our own site managers. Use and promote electronic requisitions to all client departments.
Liaise with accounts payable section for payment of invoices, work within the authority's current Contract procedure rules and financial restrictions.
Have good office-based housekeeping and admin skills.
The job role requires excellent IT experience and good interpersonal and communications skills. The candidate will be heavily involved with serving customers from various trades so understanding customers' needs is paramount.
Hours of work are 8am-4pm Mon- Thurs & 8am-3:30pm Fri.
