Job Description

Purpose

To maintain the functionality, safety, and attractiveness of outdoor spaces within housing estates, contributing to the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • The role will involve completing basic brickwork/ block work, localized rendering, digging trenches for foundations, concreting, tarmac repairs, landscaping, fencing repair and replacements.
  • Setting up a site in a safe manner, putting up barriers, safety signs and huts.
  • Preparing ground foundations ready for work to begin.
  • Interpreting the use of drawings and specifications to complete works.
  • Laying paving slabs, kerbs and repairing driveways.
  • Removing drainage and pipework systems and renewing them.
  • Redirecting waterways and connecting pipes to existing pipework.
  • Basic Joinery and shuttering.
