We are working with a well-established water contractor who is seeking a Civil Design Engineer with approximately 5 years' experience to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on essential utility upgrades and new infrastructure schemes within a growing design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce civil engineering designs for water and wastewater projects
• Prepare drawings, reports, and technical documentation
• Support design development from concept through to detailed design
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (MEICA, electrical, project delivery)
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. UK water industry standards)
• Support site investigations and respond to technical queries during construction

Requirements

• Around 5 years' experience in civil design, ideally within water/wastewater or utilities
• Strong experience in infrastructure or civil engineering design delivery
• Proficient with design tools such as AutoCAD (Civil 3D advantageous)
• Understanding of UK water sector standards and processes
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
