Job Description

We are recruiting! Male Support Workers – Pembroke Dock (NVQ level 2 or 3 needed for this role)

What you'll be doing:

We’re currently recruiting Male Support Workers in Pembroke Dock to support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury (ABI) in his own home. If you’re compassionate, reliable, and enjoy helping others live independently and confidently, we’d love to hear from you.

No two days are the same, but every shift is an opportunity to make a positive impact. Whether it’s offering reassurance during the night, sharing a conversation, or supporting daily routines, your support will help create comfort, confidence, and independence at home.

  • Full time or part time available
  • 8am - 8pm / 8pm - 8am
  • Day shifts and night shifts available
  • Regular weekly shifts with a consistent care package
  • Option for full time contracts can be discussed for successful candidates.

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.

About You:

You’ll ideally have:

  • NVQ level2 or 3 in health and social care (if have a NVQ 2 must be willing to complete level 3 with us once passed probation)
  • A caring, patient, and dependable nature
  • Great communication and relationship-building skills

  • Respect for client choice, dignity, and independence
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and work professionally within a supportive team
  • Experience in care is beneficial, but having the right attitude and values is just as important.
