Warranty Administrator

We are currently seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator to join a reputable multi-franchise dealership in Treforest. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with automotive industry knowledge and administrative expertise to develop their career within a well-established business operating in South Wales for over 40 years.

Benefits for the successful Warranty Administrator:

• Salary up to 30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• Performance-related bonus scheme
• 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 3 years of service
• Full manufacturer-approved training provided
• Contributory workplace pension scheme
• Working hours Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Stable, long-term employment within a multi-site, multi-franchise dealership

Duties of the Warranty Administrator:

• Preparing all warranty claims for submission to manufacturers
• Checking and clearing weekly statements; querying overdue claims or discrepancies
• Ensuring documentation complies with manufacturer guidelines
• Preparing accurate invoices and warranty claims
• Correctly completing repair order documentation
• Managing policy claims and customer reimbursements efficiently
• Maintaining control over displaced material returned to manufacturers
• Reconciling warranty credits and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting the aftersales team with administrative tasks related to warranty management

Requirements of the Warranty Administrator:

• Previous experience in a warranty administration or relevant administrative role within the automotive industry preferred
• Knowledge of vehicle warranty processes and manufacturer claims submissions
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a demanding environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build cooperative relationships with colleagues and customers
• A full UK driving licence with minimal points
• Resides in or within reasonable commuting distance of Treforest
