About the role:

Active Assistance are expanding our client base and have a new children's care package in Llandudno.

We’re looking to recruit part time Children's Support Workers to support a little boy who has autism, ADHD, epilepsy and challenging behaviour. You will be supporting him in his family home (where he lives with his mum and brother) and taking him out to do activities out in the community. You will be working alongside another Support Worker for all shifts.

Our client is an energetic young boy who loves trampolining, running and being outside and free. He is very sociable and likes affection. He also enjoys watching his iPad and cartoons. He is non-verbal but is able to communicate his needs and wants.

  • Regular set shifts every week

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.

What to look forward to:

  • Earn up to £13.25 per hour (depending on experience) - you’ll also receive an additional 14.07% holiday pay on every hour worked
  • Advanced monthly rotas
  • Full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from your Care Manager
  • Access to the Active Learning Hub – e-learning & in-person development
  • Nest pension
  • Be recognised through our Active Awards programme
