Outdoor General Sales Assistant – Saturday

1. We are currently looking for Outdoor General Sales Assistant to work in our plant department, someone with high standards, a good work ethic and a good level of flexibility.
2. You'll be ready to recommend products to customers and suggest items to meet their needs.
3. We offer 28 days annual leave including paid Bank Holidays, pro-rata basis for part-time employees.

Working Pattern: Saturday, 6.75 hours between 9am & 5:30pm.

Flexibility on working hours in our business season is a must.

Main Duties/Tasks:

• Stock replenishment.
• To be ready to recommend products to customers and suggest items to meet their needs.
• To take an active role in display and presentation, cleaning, and other maintenance.
• Display and Merchandising.
• Ensure that all items are clearly priced.
• Excellent customer service.
• Plant care, maintenance, and watering assisting customers with carry outs.

Requirements:

• Good Communicator.
• Good Team Player, driven by the desire to deliver 100% customer satisfaction.
• Flexible with working hours due to the nature of the business.
• Health and Safety Conscious
• The position will require a lot of heavy lifting, so a good degree of fitness is required.
• Plant Knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.

Salary and Company Benefits:

• Starting salary exceeds age related minimum wage, aged 16 – £7.25 per hour, aged 17-18 – £8.70 per hour, aged 19 and over £11.50 per hour.
