A growing organisation in Chepstow is looking for a confident and proactive HR Advisor to join their team.

This is a broad generalist position combining hands-on HR support with the opportunity to influence people practices across the business. You will work closely with managers, offering practical advice, coaching and solutions that support both employees and organisational objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic yet hands-on HR professional who is passionate about people, comfortable taking ownership and keen to make a positive impact within a developing organisation.

Key Responsibilities of HR Advisor:

• Provide trusted advice to managers on HR policies, employment law and best practice
• Support employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
• Coach managers to handle people issues fairly, confidently and consistently
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes and employee departures
• Support performance reviews, learning and employee-development activities
• Contribute to engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare relevant people reports
• Review HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support organisational change and wider people-related projects
• Promote an inclusive, positive and high-performing workplace culture

The Ideal Candidate:

• Broad generalist HR experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment
• A CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
• A proactive, practical and commercially aware mindset
• A discreet, professional approach to confidential information
