Fixed term for 9 months in the first instance (with the possibility of a further year subject to funding)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a role that supports the development of Public Libraries in Wales. This post is funded through a Welsh Government grant, with the aim of supporting the sector to deliver strategic developments across the country.
You will be at the heart of national projects—leading and coordinating workstreams that support growth, innovation and collaboration across the library sector, in line with the Priorities for Culture. This is an opportunity to use your skills to make a lasting impact.
You will work closely with the Welsh Government, as well as with the Chair and members of the Society of Chief Librarians (SCL).
This is a role for someone who is collaborative and passionate about public services—someone who wants to help libraries evolve, work together and thrive in a rapidly changing world.
The post holder will be employed by the National Library of Wales, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid way or remotely from anywhere in Wales, in partnership with your local library service.
