Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, Procurement department based in Denbigh Regional Stores, North Wales.

The successful applicant will join the team to provide day to day management of the facilities and compliance at Denbigh Regional Stores to the Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport Team based in Denbigh and at the team's satellite sites.

The post holder will work to maintain, operate and review effective Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental arrangements. Responsible for the day-to-day management and co-ordination of facilities and compliance at Denbigh, ensuring that the building is fully operational and compliant with all relevant Standards, Certifications, Licences and Regulatory requirements

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be the main point of contact for all Health & Safety, Quality and Compliance related issues for the team. The post holder will be the link person between the site and the Organisational Health & Safety team as well as attending various audits to provide assurance against relevant requirements.

The successful applicant will be the on-site key contact in providing expert advice on all Health & Safety matters to staff, providing advice and support to managers and staff and to have responsibility for the operational delivery of Health & Safety matters. As such, it is essential that the post holder has excellent communication skills and can effectively communicate with various stakeholders and different levels.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
