Description

The Role

As Credit Control Manager, you'll lead a team responsible for collections, cash allocation, account management, and debt reduction strategies. Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you'll play a key role in improving working capital performance while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Credit Controllers
  • Drive reduction in aged debt and improve cash collection performance
  • Monitor KPIs and produce management reports
  • Develop and implement collection strategies and credit policies
  • Manage escalated customer queries and payment disputes
  • Review customer credit limits and assess potential risks
  • Support forecasting and cash flow reporting
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Identify and deliver process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures

Profile

About You

  • Previous experience managing a Credit Control function
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proven ability to improve collections and reduce debtor days
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Highly analytical with strong reporting skills
  • Experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong systems and Excel knowledge
