Field Service & Installation Technician

Location: Brynmenyn, CF32 (UK-wide travel required)

Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Service & Installation Technician, you will:

  • Install, service, maintain, and repair Reval UK's assisted bathing products at customer sites throughout the UK, predominantly within care homes.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Complete service reports, installation records, and documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Comply with all customer site procedures, including health, safety, hygiene, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and warehouse areas in a clean, organised, and safe condition.
  • Represent Reval UK professionally at all times, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays when required.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Confident driving a Luton box van fitted with a tail lift.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Competent using iPads, smartphones, email systems, and electronic testing equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Desirable

  • CSCS Card or willingness to obtain one.
  • Electrical qualification and/or relevant electrical experience.
  • Plumbing qualification or experience.
  • Forklift licence.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
