Consultant Oncologist covering In Bronglais Hospital. Candidate is required to support these Tumour sites: Colorectal and Urology.
Candidate will undertake new and follow up clinics, manage own and existing case load, ward referrals, admin, review treatment plans, request bloods/diagnostics, advise CNS colleagues, triage referrals, liaise with SBUHB oncology consultant team

About the Role
As a locum Consultant in Oncology, you'll provide expert care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will undertake new and follow up clinics, manage own and existing case load, ward referrals, admin, review treatment plans, request bloods/diagnostics, advise CNS colleagues, triage referrals, liaise with SBUHB oncology consultant team
- Supporting junior doctors and clinical staff
- Contributing to service development and audits
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
- UK Right to Work
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
Desirable:
- CCT in Oncology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
