Are you passionate about the environment? Can you help us to engage with residents to deliver increased recycling rates? We are offering a six month paid work experience placement within our Waste Awareness & Enforcement team undertaking front line, face to face, customer service and engagement. You will be working alongside experienced professionals so you will 'learn on the job' and gain valuable experience.

What you will do:
Helping to deliver a cleaner, greener Powys by educating residents about what can and cannot be recycled. You will undertake door knocking, leafleting, events and publicity to help to increase awareness, promote the service generally and support with practical elements such as putting up signs, delivering leaflets and recycling boxes etc.

Salary: £12.00 per hour - real living Wage
