Customs Entry Clerk

Reed Business support are proud to be supporting a rapidly growing logistics business based in Newport in their search for a customs agent.

This role offers the chance to work across a wide range of industries and shipment types, ensuring no two days are the same. You will play a key role in managing customs declarations and documentation whilst being part of a close knit team

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare and process import and export customs declarations.
• Complete customs documentation accurately and within required timescales.
• Liaise with transport teams, customers and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment movement.
• Maintain compliance with UK customs regulations and procedures.
• Resolve customs queries and documentation issues.

What you'll need:

• Previous customs experience.
• Knowledge of customs declarations and customs procedures.
• Understanding of import and export documentation.
• Experience within transport, logistics, freight forwarding or international trade environments.
• Strong attention to detail.
