Job Description

About the role:

To undertake operational tasks as directed in relation to grounds maintenance, highway maintenance & Housing estate maintenance including the operation of specialist tools, plant and machinery.

Carry out repair and maintenance activities in respect of grounds maintenance, highway maintenance and the maintenance of equipment and facilities, using specialist machinery and tools as necessary.

The desired candidate would be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to play an active role in the team. You will be willing to attend training to further your skillset and always willing to take on new challenges.

What you will do:

  • Grass Cutting.
  • Traffic Management.
  • Willing to carry out an out of hours standby role.
  • Take an active part in the open health and safety culture.
  • Drainage works.
  • Highway repairs.

There is no DBS Check requirement for this position.

Service: Highways, Transport and Recycling

Salary: Grade 5 Point 7 to Point 9 £26,403 to £27,254 per annum £13.68 to £14.12 per hour
