You'll be responsible for:

• Planned preventative maintenance across production equipment
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Responding to breakdowns in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Working on conveyors, motors, pumps, packaging equipment and automation systems
• Supporting production changeovers and shift handovers
• Improving reliability and reducing repeat failures
• Maintaining accurate engineering records
• Ensuring high standards of safety, quality and food compliance

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Engineering qualification
• Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a fast-paced production environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience with automated machinery
• A practical, hands-on approach to engineering
• Ability to make decisions quickly under pressure
• HACCP knowledge desirable
• 17th/18th Edition beneficial but not essential
