Established in 2010, and part of the Orbis Education and Care group of specialist services since April 2021, Priority Childcare specialises in providing – leading care and support for children with needs associated with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties.
Priority Childcare homes are staffed by teams of incredibly supportive and experienced carers who build trusting relationships with children and enable them to feel safe, secure and cared for. Children are supported to learn to value themselves and others, as well as learn how to manage difficult emotions such as shame or rage and develop improved problem-solving skills.
Children are supported to understand their emotional, psychological and physical needs with the support of our carers. Providing them with the right environment for their healing to take place is the primary objective of the Psychological Support Team at Priority Childcare.
We offer a group of small welcoming homes, ranging from solo occupancy accommodation to homes with six rooms comprising of solo flats with a communal house. We are able to offer medium to long term homes for children and young people between the ages of 5 and 19.
