Vehicle Technician

1. RCT Fleet services has an exciting opportunity to join us as a Vehicle Technician, (Mechanic/Fitter) to join our workshop team, based in Treforest.
2. You will be expected to undertake all inspections & repairs to current DVSA regulations.
3. We offer Continual training requirement to keep up to date with current technology and Extra On call rota payment of £206.73 when on call.

RCT Fleet services has an exciting opportunity to join us as a Vehicle Technician, (Mechanic/Fitter) to join our workshop team, based in Treforest. Reporting to the Workshop Chargehand, we are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, hardworking technicians who will be working on our diverse fleet of vehicles from small vans to Refuse Collection Vehicles. You will be expected to undertake all inspections & repairs to current DVSA regulations. You will perform a key role within RCT to keep our vehicles on the move.

This is a 37 hour a week post and covers a two-shift working pattern (including on call rota for which a pay enhancement is made)

Week 1:    

• 06:00 to 14:00 Monday to Thursday       
• 06:00 to 13:30 Friday

Week 2:     

• 13:30 to 21:30 Monday to Thursday
• 11:30 to 19:00 Friday
