Job Description

Rate of Pay: £10.92 per hour

Contract: Permanent 

Hours: 27.5 per week

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 

Location: North Wales Police, St Asaph Business Park, Denbighshire, Wales, LL17 0HQ

We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to be the face of our catering brand at a customer site. 

The Catering Manager will be responsible for managing our front of house catering team and liaising with the kitchen. Duties will also include controlling the stock levels and front of house/bar ordering.   

You should be capable of serving food to correct portion control outlined in agreed standards. You'll have the flexibility to work at several different outlets onsite as required by Mitie management. Also, you'll participate in service and food production with a regard for the high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and cleanliness. You will be involved in washing dishes, cutlery, tumblers, jugs, serving utensils, containers, tables and all other catering equipment in the dining and service areas. 

You'll provide outstanding customer service through regular communication with customers, managers, and other team members. You must have excellent time management and organisational skills. Also, you should be hardworking, energetic, confident and a team player. You must be able to operate, utilise, and manage relevant catering IT systems as appropriate. 

The ideal candidate would have a previous catering experience within a similar environment. 

You must have some supervisory experience. Basic Food Hygiene and basic Health and Safety certificates are advantageous but not essential as full development and training will be provided. You should have an appropriate level of numeracy/literacy/communication skills to perform role duties
