Stock Administrator

Contract Type: Permanent

 Job Elements: -

  • To support the administration of the department to ensure that accurate processes are carried out and recorded in a timely manner and to ensure good communication with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • To assist when required the day-to-day activity of the department E-commerce store
  • To support the inventory manager in producing work schedules for ongoing workflow
  • To support the inventory manager in investigating stock errors and report back the findings
  • To assist with maintaining department records in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • To deal with telephone and email enquiries
  • Maintain department stock databases ensuring sufficient information is available for correct identification
  • Monitor customer stock needs ensuring sufficient stock is available to fulfil requests
  • To communicate with customers to prevent stock outages for scheduled works

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal and able to communicate internally and externally with customers and suppliers
  • High standard of computer literacy including Microsoft packages EG. Excel and Word
  • Business Administration qualification or qualified by experience
  • Experience of working within an office environment
  • Experience of working within a database application
  • Experience navigating internet via search engines
  • Experience with E-commerce websites (i.e. Ebay, Amazon)
