People Development Partner - TAFF494
Job category/type: People Services
We have an exciting opportunity to join our People & Culture Team as the People Development Partner. You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to identify and anticipate learning needs, supporting the whole of Taff as we move through our transition to new ways of working. Putting the learner experience first, you will assist our people to achieve their full capability, unlocking potential in colleagues and nurturing individuals for modern workplace learning.
To succeed in this role, you will be an expert with technology and digital learning platforms, happy to get stuck into the detail but able to look up and out, track trends and see the bigger picture. Comfortable to work stand-alone as a skilled facilitator, able to design, deliver and execute engaging L&D content, but also someone who is a strong initiator, without the need for constant guidance. You will display a solid team player ethos and build strong relationships with all our Taff colleagues.
We firmly believe that diversity drives innovation and we are building a workplace culture where difference is highly valued. We welcome applications from groups that are currently under-represented in our workforce.
If you have questions about this vacancy and would like to talk to someone, please contact Louisa Neale, Head of People & Culture on 07437138799.

Taff was established in 1975 to purchase and refurbish inner city homes that had fallen into poor condition. Today it is a successful community based Housing Association with over 1500 homes in the Canton, Fairwater, Grangetown, Riverside and Butetown areas of Cardiff, as well as specialist supported housing projects for young women in Roath and Canton. Our Head Office, Alexandra House, is located in Canton, within easy reach for our Tenants. Taff is one of the best performing Housing Associations in Wales. In addition to our landlord role, we are major support providers, having secured contracts from a number of local authorities in South East Wales. Taff is committed to equality of opportunity, and is keen to promote diversity in employment and service delivery. Our strengths include specialist housing and support for BME communities, working with young women and their babies, family support, floating support for older people, and high level ‘forensic’ support. The Association has a commitment to excellence and to customer involvement, which has contributed to winning several awards and receiving the best Housing Association report in Wales from the Wales Audit Office.
