Job Description

Salary £18.5k basic.
Job Elements: -

  • Ensure all deliveries have been received and booked in accurately whilst avoiding delays.
  • Liaise with all internal departments required to resolve delivery issues.
  • Literate use of all goods in systems required to process deliveries in to stock.
  • Ensure overstock and normal stock process is managed effectively.
  • Liaise with logistics administration staff to ensure 100% of despatch requirements are maintained.
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to and raise health and safety concerns to their manager when necessary.
  • Accountable for accurate and secure record of goods in and out.
  • Process recyclables and liaise with partners to maintain efficient waste management.
  • Accurately manage the transfer of stock between the various storage locations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Health and safety awareness especially with manual handling techniques
  • Basic English and Maths
  • Warehouse and Logistics qualification
  • Experience of working within a warehouse operation
  • Experience of goods in function
  • Experience of using a fork lift/order picker
