Finance Officer    
Cardiff£19,463 - 21,412 (pro-rata) 
Main Tasks
To support and assist in the running of the organisations finances
To process data and operate computerised accounting system (Sage Line 50)
To assist in the preparation and running of budgets
To assist with invoice production
To assist in preparing bank reconciliations
To assist in preparing monthly payroll
To carry out banking and financial office procedures and protocols
To administer the petty cash system
To assist with funding bids as required
To carry out any such reasonable duties as may be required by the Departmental Manager, Chief Executive or Management Board

Experience of operating accounting and finance systems (Sage Line 50)
Ability to monitor and present budgets
IT skills – good knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel
Ability to work to deadlines
Knowledge of charity accounting systems
Knowledge of manual and computerised accounting systems
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Working within an office environment and according to established procedures
Ability to work in partnership with all key agencies
Ability to uphold equal opportunities and work in a non-judgemental and anti-discriminatory manner

Experience of using payroll systems (BACS), PAYE, NI, pensions, etc
A relevant accounting qualification or studying to obtain one
Interpersonal skills – excellent written and verbal skills
An understanding of the needs and issues of substance misusers
Car driver and have access to a car
