National Vending Machine Operator

Nutrivend has grown rapidly over the last number of years, and we are now looking to recruit Vending Machine Operators to cover London and the wider surrounding area to join our operations team. We have a warehouse and our head office is in Llantrisant, just outside Cardiff (CF72 8LF) - We also have a distribution centres based in London Twickenham (TW1 1DG), Manchester (SK8 6PT), and Birmingham (B7 4LT) - the successful applicant will collecting stock from these locations. As our new Vending Machine Operator, you will be responsible for restocking and cleaning vending machines at customer sites.

The candidates will become the face of the company to the client, and so you must be personable, professional and presentable always. You will also enjoy interacting positively with all clients. This is a physically demanding job, looking after machines spread across different sites, and so a good level of fitness is needed and full training will be provided. You will be required to have a full UK driving licence. The job role will vary from working within the warehouse collecting stock to installing and delivering products nationwide. As we cover a substantial geographical area, we schedule a delivery day of 4 or 5 appointments. Must be prepared for some long days and nights away (Accommodation and meal allowance provided)

The Role

This is a pivotal role within Nutrivend and the candidate is expected to integrate within the Operating Department, assuring all tasks and projects are executed correctly. Nutrivend is looking for an individual with a "can-do" attitude, who is self-motivated, responsible.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all machines are filled fully and cleaned to company standards.
  • Route planning.
  • Recording stock and sales on a hand-held system.
  • Responsible for rectifying minor 1st line machine faults.
  • Responsible for the secure collection of cash from machines and its deposit for collection.
  • Responsible for ordering your route stock on time and collecting at a remote warehouse.
  • Responsible for van stock, stock rotation in machines and van stock take as required.
  • Loading products into your van.
  • Ensuring technical faults are notified to the Team Leader and Head Office.
  • Ensuring the company vehicle is kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensuring any areas of customer dissatisfaction brought to your attention are immediately notified to your Team Leader.
  • Maintaining effective communication with Head Office and your Team Leader via phone, email and the software applications provided.
  • Under the direction of Team Leader, covering for colleagues’ routes when deemed necessary.
  • Attending training courses when necessary.
  • Work additional hours when necessary.
