The Business and Operations Support (BOS) manager role is a linchpin role for RCNi, tying together the work by editorial, product development, marketing, website, finance and sales teams from an operational and customer perspective. The postholder will need to learn a broad range of knowledge to support the BOS team, inform wider RCNi decisions and feed into RCN group CRM work.

You will lead a team of six staff providing subscription and product support to our personal and institutional subscribers, and operational support to the rest of RCNi. You will be line managing all six staff, and reporting to the London-based Sales Operations Manager.

We are looking for a calm and confident individual who is capable of learning a lot of information about the broad range of daily, weekly and monthly operational processes undertaken by the team, as well the workings of the CRM.

You should be experienced in team management and bringing the best out of people. Ideally you will have operations and/or customer services experience, and a good understanding of working with subscription models with a large CRM system.

Most of all we want someone with exceptional common sense, adaptability, proactivity, and solution-focus. A 'people person' who can nurture and guide the BOS team, while providing the vital connection to the rest of the organisation.
