We're helping scale the technical team for a Financial Services company based in Cardiff and looking for a Lead Software Developer who's keen to learn plenty of new skills and become an integral part of a tight knit team!

What you'll be doing:
It's a pretty interesting time to join the company with the transformation work involved where essentially the entire system is going to be re-written from scratch over the next 12 months and being approached like a greenfield project!

You'll be leveraging infrastructure as code to automate provisioning and deployment, building reliable systems running on the cloud at scale. We're looking for someone to champion best practices and give technical leadership, fully participating in key technical decisions and discussions.

About you
We're looking for a strong foundation in core software design and development concepts; Tech wise they're stack is below so though we don't need 100% of everything listed, an understanding or willingness to learn in some areas would be great!
* C# on .NET Framework 4.6+ and .NET Core
* Azure AKS / Azure App Services / Cloud Services
* React / Redux / Webpack
* Azure SQL / PostgreSQL / Elasticsearch
* Git, Azure DevOps, Terraform

You'll ideally be keen on cross-team and cross-departmental collaboration; as a lead in the team you'll take responsibility for the personal development of the other software engineers, mentoring, coaching and pairing with them.

About them:
There's no micro-management - just teams working together properly. Their startup mindset has allowed them to grow significantly over a short space of time and they balance that agility with grown up and realistic ambitions.

These guys really are something a little different - Working with latest technologies and leading SaaS providers, you'll be a leading player in an enthusiastic and motivated agile development team that takes pride in delivering high-quality software into production. From problem solving to new concept ideas, you have the genuine opportunity to have your voice heard and release your full potential.

Still here? Good!
It's a relaxed environment, following truly Agile processes where you're given the tools you need to get the job done. They have 28 days holiday (+bank holiday) with a variety of other benefits including breakfast, beer, subsidised gym membership and snacks: what more could you want?
