Engagement Outreach Worker

WCADA is a registered charity and limited company providing a wide range of services across Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend. WCADA aims to reduce, treat and prevent the harm caused by alcohol and drugs to individuals, their families and the community. We are currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our innovative and passionate team.

We are seeking to employ an Engagement Outreach Worker who will work in the local community to identify, engage with and assist individuals aged 18 years and over who use alcohol and/or drugs, have complex needs and are not accessing alcohol and drug treatment agencies.   

Job Title: Engagement Outreach Worker

Location: Neath Port Talbot

Reports to: Treatment Services Team Leader

Salary: Sc. 25, £21,104 – Sc. 27, £22,515 *pro-rata per annum

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working hours)

Annual leave: Duration: 25 days, plus Statutory Bank Holiday

Funded until March 2021

WCADA is one of the leading substance misuse treatment agencies in Wales providing Minnesota 12-Step Abstinence treatment and Harm Reduction services, including needle exchange and outreach, targeted to individual need. Other services provided include information, advice and treatment for young people, older and disabled people, family members and carers.
