Head of Accommodation and Support

£26,000-£28,000

Emmaus South Wales is looking for someone a little bit special to Head up the delivery of our accommodation and support services. As a Social Enterprise, we do things a bit differently to most supported housing providers, so need a Head of Accommodation and Support with the skill and creativity to translate their experience of managing accommodation based support services to the Emmaus ethos and way of working.

If you share our ethos, and have proven housing management expertise, combined with a track record in managing support services that deliver positive outcomes for vulnerable adults, and a positive “can do” attitude, we would love to hear from you.

This is a permanent full-time post based in Bridgend. Staff are expected to participate in the 24 hour on-call rota.

Company Description

At Emmaus we're working together to end homelessness.

Emmaus (pronounced em-may-us) is a homelessness charity with a difference. We don’t just give people a bed for the night; we offer a home, meaningful work and a sense of belonging.

The first Emmaus opened in 1992 and there are now 29 communities, which is what we call our residential sites, spread across the UK. There are also five Emmaus groups currently working to open new communities.
Emmaus supports more than 815 formerly homeless people, by providing them with support, a home for as long as they need it and meaningful work and training in our social enterprises. We hope to increase our capacity to 1,000 rooms by 2020.
