A Clinical Assistant is required to undertake procedures related to cosmetic, pharmaceutical and other dermatological clinical trials carried out at Cutest. The position is one of a supporting role to assist our project manager and study nurses in undertaking clinical measurements on human volunteers.

Aspects of the job include (but are not limited to):
*Using a broad variety of skin measurement devices to measure volunteers skin before and after products have been applied in clinical studies
*Assisting in the project management of clinical studies
*Undertaking data analysis from studies
*Assist in the carrying out of studies working with volunteers according to the study protocols
*Supporting the quality management of the clinical operations

This role would suit a science graduate with an interest in learning about clinical research and project management and is outgoing and happy to work closely with members of the public making clinical measurements on their skin.

Depending upon the qualifications and skills of the candidate, there is great scope to take on additional scientific responsibilities and to develop the role.

Cutest Systems Ltd is a clinical trials company based in Pentwyn, Cardiff. We have been operating for 35 years and work on behalf of well known beauty, medical device and pharma companies to perform safety and performance tests on new products. Our clinic in Cardiff performs clinical research with volunteers who attend to have physiological skin measurements and safety tests performed within highly controlled clinical trials.

The role would suit a science graduate (biological sciences or related degree, including forensics, biochemistry, nursing or other related fields) who wants a clinical research role where they work with people rather than an analytical or similar laboratory role. Good interpersonal skills are needed as will be working with volunteer members of the public, as well as strong organisation skills and attention to detail.

The role is full time, standard office hours and available for immediate starting.
