SALARY: COMPETITIVE SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE+ COMMISSION + 20 DAYS HOLIDAY & PENSION

THE COMPANY

Our client is a market leading metal and plastics stockholder supplying a diverse range of industries including Defence, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine & UK Engineering. The company offer a bespoke service, focusing on being more than just a material supplier to their customers, by offering a 'Total Supply Package' it has forged long lasting partnerships with customers and suppliers alike.

Due to continued strategic expansion it has become imperative to appoint an Internal Sales executive. Working closely with the sales Manager, it is your role to build profitable sales and ultimately client relationships.

THE ROLE:
* Reporting to the Sales Manager it is your role achieve and exceed the sales and gross profit targets.
* The role will suit an experienced sales professional who has an understanding of how grow sustainable, profitable business relationships.
* Identify and understand the purchasing strategy of customers in order to provide a bespoke package which fulfills their specific requirements.
* Gather and disseminate relevant and up-to-date information customers and use to determine sales strategy and tactics.

THE CANDIDATE:
* You are innovative in your approach to developing business opportunities; your tenacious attitude means you are able to adopt a variety of negotiating tactics to progress a sales situation.
* Experience in the sale of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, plastics, profiling, extrusion or other services would be of interest however the client wont rule out someone from a fast moving material sales background.
* A highly proficient sales negotiator with the ability to maximise new business and the knowledge of how to best cultivate existing accounts is a must have for the role.
* Experience in a competitive sales environment is a pre-requisite.
* The desire to succeed is essential as business growth is expected.
