Marketing and Communications Executive

37 hours per week Monday to Friday

£30,000 per annum

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Executive to join an expanding business within the Financial sector. The successful candidate will develop and deliver targeted communications to key audiences, develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop comprehensive market knowledge and maximise opportunities to create and maintain awareness.

Key Duties:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

* Develop and deliver an integrated marketing communications plan.

* Coordinate with members of the marketing team to deliver elements of the plan including social media, events and hospitality, website projects and updates and PR.

* Develop relationships with key media to secure and grow coverage.

* Maintain positive working relationships with external stakeholders.

* Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify PR opportunities.

* Manage third party suppliers.

* Monitor and analyse campaign performance to ensure targets are met.

* Undertake any other task defined by the Senior Management team to meet the department's operational needs.

The Candidate:

* Previous experience of working within a communications role.

* Experience of writing briefs, drafting and reviewing PR, developing relationships with journalists, selling and managing freelancers/third party suppliers.

* Good knowledge and experience of developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns.

* Good knowledge and experience of coordinating events.

* Good knowledge of digital marketing including email, social and websites.

* Experience of using different IT applications/packages, including MS Office applications and CRM.

Good team player who is able to assume different roles when appropriate and has experience of building cross-departmental teams/relationships.
