ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER REQUIRED FOR IMMEDIATE START IN THE DEESIDE/CHESTER AREA.

This is a permanent role that will pay between £25,000 & £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

Work is on days 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday / 8.00am - 3.30pm Friday, 39 hour week.

The electrical project engineer is responsible for running multiple projects simultaneously, with duties to include design, testing and commissioning of LV Switchgear, MCC, energy management and general control systems.

Area of Responsibility:

* Design, testing and commissioning.
* Delivering the business KPI's.
* Project life cycle.

Skills / Qualifications:

* Good experience of CAD (AutoCAD 2D or Solidworks)
* ONC or HNC in electrical engineering.
* Mechanical engineering skills advantageous.
* Project engineering experience from a manufacturing background.
* Task driven, energetic, committed and responsive.
* Good organisational skills.
* Computer literate.
* High attention to detail.
* Confident and professional telephone manner.

Specifics:

* Production of detailed electrical schematics, single line diagrams and 2D (3D advantageous) general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD and/or Solidworks.
* Production of Bill of Materials and specification of components to meet the customers specification/requirements.
* Production of test and commissioning procedures.
* Liaison with client's and suppliers during the life of the projects.
* Ability to run with multiple projects at any given time, with the ability to self-manage.
* Cost engineering and product development with the aim of cost reduction to manufacturing through design.
* Responsible to oversee product manufacture/testing of projects and provide support to the manufacturing team.

There may also be a requirement to work on site across the UK occasionally for product support testing and commissioning. You will be required to track and accomplish project goals on a timely basis for the following:

1. Project milestones.
2. Project man hours.
3. Project spend.

Experience must be related to the low voltage electrical equipment and we would consider individuals from a wide range of service industry backgrounds. All work is low voltage. Experience of working in manufacturing covering control panels, switchgear etc would be beneficial.
