We're looking for a Support Worker to join us to support an eight year old boy in Swansea with complex needs.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support to our client, an eight year old boy living in Swansea with complex needs.

Joining a happy, family environment, you will support the service user with all personal care needs and feeding. You will encourage interaction through sensory stimulation and engage him in a wide variety of activities as well as following programmes developed by his therapists.

About You

To be considered as a Support Worker, you'll need:

- A full, valid driving licence, as you will be expected to drive the client's vehicle
- The willingness to learn
- Enthusiasm to care

An NVQ Level 2 qualification in Care (or equivalent) would be beneficial, as would competent IT skills.

Other organisations may call this role Care Worker, Personal Care Assistant, Healthcare Worker, Healthcare Co-ordinator, Care Co-ordinator, Social Care Worker, Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant.

This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS.

This is a full time permanent position with hours that vary between term time and school holidays. You will work 7.30am - 10.30am and 2.30pm - 8pm Monday - Friday and 9am - 7pm Saturdays and Sundays. These hours can be expected to increase significantly during school holidays.
