An experienced Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with a background in both management and mental health rehabilitation is required to work as Nurse Deputy Manager of a specialist locked rehabilitation service in Port Talbot.

The facility offers a low secure and locked rehabilitation services for adults of working age who are living with mental illnesses, challenging behaviours and to those who have been detained under the Mental Health Act.

Details of this RMN/RNLD Nurse Deputy Manager role and what the successful candidate will receive:

* A permanent contract of 40 hours per week, working flexible day shifts

* A competitive annual salary of £40,000, which is equivalent to an NHS Band 7 salary and hourly rates of £19.23

As RMN/RNLD Deputy Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager and will coordinate, manage and monitor clinical services throughout the facility in addition to delivering effective line management and clinical leadership to the multi-disciplinary team.

What we are looking for in a Nurse Deputy Manager:

* NMC Registered Nurse - Mental Health/RMN & Learning Disability/RNLD Nurses will both be considered for this position

* Demonstrate proven experience in a managerial or leadership role in a secure mental health care and rehabilitation setting

* Confident delivering both clinical leadership and line management and have a positive, proactive approach to leadership

* Flexible to meet the needs of the hospital and participate in on-call rotas etc
