Job Elements: -

·Lead Innovation team to deliver projects in line with the technology roadmap

·Ensure close alignment with the wider group engineering and innovation teams

·Build up and sustain a network to universities and external institutes and other strategic development partners

·Manage the product technology roadmap in line with strategy, and update based on market trends, customer feedback and internal feedback

·Manage and develop projects in line with development processes, with the goal of developing robust products and product standards for production projects

·Manage Innovation budget, and strive for external budget support (grants, customer funded projects) where applicable.

·Represent company at conferences, universities, external workgroups, customer meetings, etc.

·Manage long term resource, budget and capital planning

·Ensure a Global perspective is given for customer focus, product requirements and team development

·Ensure that technology benchmarks and new project evaluations & assessments are executed

·Produce or review technical material for customer meetings, new business requirements, and other events to promote new technology developments
