Accounts Assistant - Maternity Cover

24 hours a week - flexible

Salary of £18-20,000 per annum pro rata

My client, based in Swansea, is seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team. Interviews will be taking place week commencing 7th October.

Daily/Weekly Tasks:
* Answering phone calls
* Monitoring emails and printing purchase ledger invoices
* Coding & entering purchase ledger invoices
* Chase missing invoices
* Splitting invoices such as Fedex, Arval, EE, BT, Daisy, etc. by shop and department
* Tie up delivery notes, applications for payment, etc. with purchase ledger invoices
* Purchase ledger queries

Monthly Tasks:
* Charge and credit card statement:
* Checking receipts to statements
* Chasing outstanding receipts
* Update excel spreadsheet and upload to Sage
* Assist with supplier statement reconciliations
* Shops Petty Cash:
* Checking receipts to Cybertill report
* Chasing missing receipts
* Update excel spreadsheet and upload to Sage
* Expenses on People:
* Checking that all receipts are present
* Ensuring VAT has been claimed when appropriate
* Chasing any outstanding receipts or amendments that need to be
* Update excel spreadsheet and upload to Sage
* Archiving. This would include sorting through the paperwork returned to head office from the shops
* Any ad hoc tasks that arise.
