Business Analyst - Newport & Cardiff

The Candidate
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Financial Services Sector. The successful Business Analyst will have proven business analysis experience which may possibly have been gained in the Financial Services Sector, although this is not essential as experienced Business Analysts with a genuine desire to work in Financial Services will be considered.

A professional accreditation in Business Analysis would be desirable as would a Bachelor's degree of (equivalent) in a subject related to the duties and responsibilities of a Business Analyst. Experience in project management principles, practices, techniques and tools including facilitation, organisation and motivation would be a bonus as would any experience of Data Migration projects and varied experience of Project Methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.

The Role
The Business Analyst will work on both new software and servicing projects, through owning and facilitating the requirements process and ensuring the overall solution meets business needs.

The Business Analyst will lead the solution throughout the project life-cycle, operating as the interface between the business and technical departments to ensure that proposed solutions are valid, documented and meet the correct business functionality, requirements and industry standards.

The role requires high levels of motivation and organisation and the ability to plan, manage and prioritise workloads.

Reward
In you will receive a salary of around £37,000, profit related bonus scheme, 24 days annual leave and life assurance of four times your salary. On completion of the probationary period you can join the group pension plan and obtain up to a 6% match contribution into your pension plan.
